Orthotic Prosthetic Support

Since 2017, the Alliance of International Doctors (AID) has been providing orthotic and prosthetic services to individuals affected by humanitarian crises and natural disasters. Through our efforts, we have reached over 4,000 people, conducted more than 3,500 medical examinations, and provided prosthetic support to more than 1,500 individuals.

Our free orthotic and prosthetic services have made a significant impact on the lives of many, including victims of the Syrian civil war, those injured in the Karabakh conflict, survivors of the Kahramanmaras earthquake, and Palestinians affected by the Israeli-Hamas war. Our goal is to help each individual regain independence and restore hope for their future.

At our state-of-the-art Orthotics and Prosthetics Centers in Istanbul, Hatay Reyhanlı, and Idlib, we use 3D scanning technology to deliver personalized prostheses. This innovative technology allows us to produce and fit customized prosthetics within just a few hours, improving efficiency and reducing costs. Our specialized software and 3D printing technology ensure that patients receive the best possible care and can return to daily life as soon as possible.

In addition to our fixed centers, we extend our services to remote and challenging areas, including war zones and refugee camps. Using portable 3D scanners, our technicians can take precise measurements even in these difficult environments, ensuring that our services remain accessible to those in need.
