In the refugee camps of Idlib, where hundreds of thousands struggle for survival, accessing even the most basic health services is a significant challenge. For individuals living in these camps, maintaining their sight is crucial for their health and quality of life.
Loss of vision not only impacts individuals physically but also diminishes their independence. In refugee camps, this dependency becomes an additional burden, complicating daily life.
Our eye health center, established in collaboration with IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, Kuwait Zakat House, and IHH Samsun Black Movement, plays a vital role in helping these individuals regain their independence and navigate their difficulties more effectively.
Operating under challenging conditions, the Idlib Eye Health Center is dedicated to providing essential services, including regular eye screenings, refraction examinations, cataract surgeries, and other eye treatments.
